The role requires Millwright experience, hands-on mechanical and electrical aptitude, and the ability to lead in a dynamic and evolving manufacturing environment.
Finishing Line Supervisor
The Finishing Line Supervisor leads the finishing team to ensure every home meets IGV Housing’s high-quality standards. This position combines hands-on carpentry with leadership responsibilities to manage workflow, coach team members, and maintain production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise finishing operations and coordinate daily workflow.
Assign tasks, monitor quality, and resolve issues as they arise.
Perform hands-on carpentry and finishing work when needed.
Train and mentor staff on finishing techniques, tools, and safety practices.
Liaise with quality control, logistics, and maintenance to ensure smooth production.
Qualifications
Journeyperson Carpenter (Red Seal preferred) or equivalent trade experience.
Proven leadership in construction or manufacturing environments.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Framing Bridge Operator & Team Lead
The Framing Bridge Operator & Team Lead operates framing bridge equipment and leads a small team to deliver precision-built framing assemblies. This role balances technical machine operation with hands-on carpentry and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and maintain framing bridge equipment.
Lead the framing crew to ensure assemblies meet design and quality standards.
Troubleshoot and adjust machinery as required.
Train team members in safe framing practices.
Set up, calibrate, and change machine tooling daily.
Qualifications
Journeyperson Carpenter (Red Seal preferred) or equivalent trade experience.
Proven leadership in construction or manufacturing environments.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Logistics Team Lead
The Logistics Team Lead oversees warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring efficient inbound and outbound materials flow. This role includes both leadership and hands-on duties to support daily production and deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
Lead inbound and outbound material movement and scheduling.
Operate forklifts for staging, loading, and deliveries.
Manage inventory, shipping, and receiving documentation.
Train and supervise logistics staff, ensuring adherence to safety and efficiency standards.
Qualifications
Valid forklift certification.
Experience in warehouse, logistics, or materials management.
Strong team leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
MEP Assembly Supervisor (Plumber)
The MEP Assembly Supervisor oversees the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) assembly operations within IGV Housing’s hybrid construction system. This role ensures plumbing, and MEP tasks are performed to code, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise MEP assembly line operations and staff.
Oversee plumbing tasks to ensure compliance with building codes and IGV quality standards.
Coordinate material and tool requirements with procurement.
Provide training, enforce safety compliance, and drive continuous improvement.
Review and suggest design improvements for production efficiency.
Qualifications
Red Seal Plumber.
Previous supervisory or lead experience in MEP or modular assembly.
Strong understanding of plumbing and MEP system standards.
